Re-tag Albums with Incomplete Tracks

hello everyone,
I’m running across an issue where I have albums with one or two tracks missing, but pretty sure the tracks are in my collection, but probably mis-tagged to another release.

is there a way to easily/automatically find these missing tracks and add/match them to the release with missing tracks, thus completing the release?

I have been using Jaikoz’s report missing tracks feature, but it’s not always accurate. sometimes an album I have has duplicates, and it will report as album being complete, even though a track may be missing.

An automatic “scan tracks and match to full album” or “find albums with missing tracks and find possible missing tracks” feature would be amazing.
this feature could offer possible matches and allow me to manually accept/decline corrections.
the ability to define albums for correction as having “missing no more than 20% of the tracks” (or something similar), would help me find the albums that are correctly tagged, but missing only a few tracks.

At the moment I’m laboriously manually finding missing tracks, and using “match to specific musicbrainz release”, which doesn’t always work. and then removing incorrect album fields and musicbrainz fields in order for for the match to work.

I think the solution is for the missing tracks report to work properly but I wasn’t aware that it was not, can you give me more details

I am unable to successfully reproduce the problem at will.
Jaikoz report will sometimes list a release as complete, although there are tracks missing.

It would be great to develop the reporting feature. so Jaikoz could automatically look through your collection for possible matches to complete the release, (based on song title and time?)
Obviously looking first at candidate tracks which are already matched to releases with only one or two tracks successfully matched.
The idea being to complete incomplete releases.
