My music server (Lyrion) is MusicBrainz aware and leverages MBIDs for among others artist and albumartist when MBIDs are present. It builds its contributor table on the fly as it scans and associates mbid’s with artists, albumartists etc. in the same order the tags appear in a track…so ordering of MBID’s relative to artist, albumartist etc. becomes crucial to ensuring that the first time an artist name and MBID is encountered they’re in the same order as the MBID then becomes associated with that performer name.
So quick question - I presume wherever artist, albumartist etc. names are written by SK the associated MBID’s appear in the same order as the names?
