Question regarding how the album artist is sorted in Itunes and on Ipod

I seem to be having a problem, which is likely due to my lack of understanding of Jaikoz.

Whenever I choose the auto correct option for my music, it automatically sorts it by the artist last name.

For example, on my IPod, when I scroll down to Elton John, he is listed under the J’s. I’d much rather have him be listed in the E’s.

Also, I’ve already auto corrected my entire library, so everything is sorted in this way. Is there any way to sort them back so that they are in order of first name. So Elton John will be in the E’s.

iTunes has a sort artist field that I believe you can see in Jaikoz. If you want to override it for itunes and therefore the ipod, I believe you can edit the field. Sounds like that field is “John, Elton” if the ipod is seeing it that way. Make it “Elton John”.
