I tried to start the program just like any other day but I got this weird message “Problem with settings.jai file - premature end of file” and it wouldn’t let me open the program.
I tried to re-install it, but still no luck. Can anyone help me out?

Somehow got corrupted, you need delete the settings.jai file in your local folder, then a new one will be copied over from the install folder.
On OSX this is in
Home : Library : Preferences : Jaikoz
Windows Vista
C:\Users\username\Jaikoz
Linux
$HOME/Jaikoz
