problem under ubuntustudio 7.04

Hello.

I can’t start Jaikoz. I get this error when running jaikoz.sh from a terminal window :

Unable to access jarfile lib/jaikoz.jar

Here is my java version :
java version “1.6.0”
Java™ SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0-b105)
Java HotSpot™ Client VM (build 1.6.0-b105, mixed mode, sharing)

Any ideas?

Must be a path problem, why don’t you run Jaikoz instead ?

jaikoz: command not found

Any ideas?

Aaaargh!

It’s Jaikoz, not jaikoz! Capital J!

Next problem : it seems to open for a fraction of a second, and then, it immediately closes.

Ideas?

solved.

I opened it once with sudo Jaikoz and the sebsequent times, it was ok with just Jaikoz.

Ok, this is a known issue, the first time jaikoz runs it creates a license file (license.jai) in its install folder, so needs permission to do so. This is due to be moved into the users home folder instead.

This is fixed in jaikoz 1.11
