Maybe I’m just stupid, but I can’t find the preferences menu entry on Jaikoz 3.7.1 on Mac OS X 10.6.5 (Snow Leopard). I always thought it is located in under “Jaikoz” directly below “About Jaikoz”, but the next one is “Services” and I can’t find it in the other menus…any idea what have caused this?

You are right it should be below About Jaikoz.
You are on 10.6.5, I’m currently on 10.6.4 so I’ll upgrade to see if that causes it, there is also a developers preview of an update to Java just made available have you installed that because that could be the problem ?
Yes, I installed the java developer preview too.
Im sure thats the issue then, think you can disable it, but I had better try it out before it goes live,
