I am a Windows/ITunes user that was being stumped by the auto update error
“Unable to update iTunes:iTunes was busy and could not be updated, please do not use itunes whilst updating from jaikoz”
But I searched on the Forum and saw your post that there is a compatabilty issue. I’m still a potential purchaser given the size and condition of my Itunes library, but I’m still being stumped on the work around. I’ve AutoCorrected and Saved in Jaikoz, but I can’t get the changes to Show upon reopening Itunes and hitting Get Info on the files in question.
Files are on a Seperate Drive, But Itunes is not organizing, nor making copies of the files.
Any ideas?

Pre Purchase Question / Issue
The compatibility issue is only with Java 64bit which it doesn’t sound like you are using.
The error you are getting normally occurs if you already have another window open in iTunes or are performing another task such as downloading artwork or building Genius playlists. But there may be another issue to find out I need you to send me your support files using Advanced/Create Support Files.
