When I start up Jaikoz, the initial screen appears. There is then a dialog pop up box which appears in the middle of the screen and then rapidly disappears. All I can see is that it is something about networks and there is an allow and deny button. Any ideas what it says?

Trying running Jaikoz from a command window (Windows) or Terminal (OSX, Linux) so we can see what output is generated.
It says:
Do you want the application ‘Jaikoz.app’ to accept incoming network communications?
Clicking Deny may limit the applications behaviour. This setting can be changed in the Firewall pane of Security and Privacy preferences.
There are also ‘Deny’ and ‘Allow’ buttons.
This dialog just flashes up for a millisecond and then disappears.
Sounds like your firewall is causing a problem, because this is not a Jaikoz message.
You should click ‘Allow’ or if there is no chance to do this please try configuring your Firewall to give Jaikoz access.
If you don’t know how to do this, or it still doesn’t work please try temporarily disabling the firewall to see if this resolves the problem, then we can take it from there
