many of my files have pretty good album art already (better resolution than MB). When I download pictures from MB via Jaikoz those pictures are always the first saved in the tag.
Is there any way to keep my better pictures in the top position?

No but you can prevent the Musicbrainz artwork replacing the existing artwork by going to Preferences/Musicbrainz/Autoformat and changing the value for Artwork to ‘Populate thjis field only if empty’.
This will be the default for all new versions of Jaikoz.
