Does anyone know which fields are not length-limited in iTunes? The only one I can see is Lyrics; fields like Comment truncate contents after a set character limit (e.g., 255).
The reason I ask is that I use Lyrics to hold song & album reviews, and I now want to dump that content to another field so I can add lyrics. I’d hate to overwrite reviews or have to manually paste in lyrics.
Alternatively, if Jaikoz let me prepend lyrics to existing content…

You could make use the popup menu option ‘Edit/Prepend to Left/Right’
Have three columns:NotUsed1/Lyrics/NotUsed2 ( where Not used 1/2 are two columns little used columns such as Mood)
Select all Not Used 1 and Lyrics fields, and select Prepend to Left to
copy all the data currently in Lyrics to NotUsed1
Delete all Lyrics fields
Run Correct Lyrics to populate the Lyrics field
Select all NotUsed2 and Lyrics fields, and select Prepend to Right to
copy all the Lyrics found to NotUsed2
Delete all Lyrics fields
Select all NotUsed1 and Lyrics fields, and select Prepend to Right to
copy all the original data back into Lyrics
Select all NotUsed2 and Lyrics fields, and select Prepend to Left to
prepend the original data with the Lyrics
