Only update album art and style

I only want to correct/over write all the album arts and genre/style.
Is this possible?

Is there anything I should think about to do this as automatically as possible?

(I have 55.000 mp3 and playlists that connect the them, so I don’t want files to be moved or renamed since it will destroy the playlists. Years ago I made an automatic cover art update using winamp or similiar but it actually corrupted all album arts into the wrong ones. Plus that resolution in those days where poor. Today you want a better image quality for your album art since you view them on larger screens. Now I want to re-write ALL the album arts regardless.)

Yes you can do that, you just need to configure the fields on Preferences:MusicBrainz:Format, Preferences:MusicBrainz:Format 2, and Preferences:Remote Correct:Disocgs and it will only update the fields you select (plus a few internal id fields)

I realize its a bit cumbersome having to modify all these fields and work is already underway to make this much simpler in Jaikoz 9.0

Thanks for input. Seems to work fine. However, I can’t get the Paypal to work. It just routes to a page the DNS can’t find. Pls check in your end. BR /Tomas

Also, the forum did not let me log on again using my first profile. Weird. I had to create a new one to get in. Know anything about this?

HI, I just did a test Jaikoz payment and it worked fine, I then saw that you had done a successful payment, so have you received your license okay.

I dont know the reason for the forum issue.

Thanks, seems like it was a temp Paypal-issue. But it lasted for 15-20 minutes over three browsers on two computers. Now I’m running album art changes on the 55.000 mp3 (in chunks of reasonable size), seems it will take a while… but it will be so worth it. Thanks for what so far seems like a brilliant sw. (I did not actually need to change any settings, it was just the Rating and the actual mp3-filename and folder structure I wanted to protect. All the other ID3-data is fine to update.) BR Tomas
