New HD option

I was please to see the announcement of SongKongs HD Release. I added the following to Minimserver:

indexTags:
is_hd=1:HD Musik, is_hd_copy=0:Non-HD Musik

tagValue:
is_hd_copy.default={is_hd}

The respective option in SongKong was activated but after a rescan Minim is still not showing any HD albums by browsing through my library. Anything that I overlooked?

Oh and what can we expect this feature in Jaikoz?

I just tried this with some HD flac files exactly as you have done in MinimServer and it worked.

So the question is has Songkong added is_hd to the files, easiest thing would be to open the spreadsheet from the report, then select the release tab, Is Hd is the last column.

If so what, what format are your files in, are there any errors in the MinimServer log ?

If not, are your files 24 bit ?

I would expect it to go into Jaikoz X

Thanks Paul.

This was a 192/24 album that I bought from HDtracks. It contains 6 tracks which is different from the vinyl or CD version:
So What

Freddie Freeloader

Blue in Green

All Blues

Flamenco Sketches

Flamenco Sketches (alternate take)
SongKong is making this:
Kind of Blue [HD] (Disc 1) for all songs 1-5
Kind of Blue (Disc 2) for song 6

When I browse my library I can’t find the first 5 songs anymore. IS_HD equals 1 for the first 5 songs but not for the last song.

The spreadsheet is attached below.

Hi, I think you may have sent the wrong report because I cannot find any reference to Any Kind of Blue in this report, its better for me if you just run Help:Create Support Files this will upload the last 5 reports plus logs.

Anyway you raise a good point about what SongkKong should do if album contains HD and non HD tracks, Im not sure. I can only assume that track 6 is not HD, perhaps you could share this track with me since the HD is set by looking at the encoding in the file itself rather than matching to a HD version of album.

If you just browse by folder can you not see the other tracks by looking under Miles Davis and then album Kind of Blue ?

Good morning,
I removed all previous reports and stuff as I had a crash yesterday both iTunes and SongKong.

I deleted the non-HD file but no change.

All of my HD albums are under [no album] that is the reason why I can just find it via folder view.

Create Support Files just automatically uploads it to me, I have now recieved it and will look into it as soon as I can later today.

Hi, its a bit unfortunate that you deleted your old reports however I still have your logs.

So on 20/11/2017 12:49 you ran against your …/iTunes/Music/Miles Davis/Kind Of Blue and looking at your current option it looks like of the six songs, one was already matched to MusicBrainz and the other five were not, and hence we only looked for a search for the remaining five and matched them to https://musicbrainz.org/release/e7ba3cb7-a074-45ee-870f-3baeb6d3e8bf, and it looks like the other one was already matched to https://musicbrainz.org/release/d6a1f166-8a02-4608-849b-9d623912c3e5 - could that be possible ?

Also in the report you have you have the option Nur dann Entsprechung, wenn alle gruppierten Songs einem Album zugeordnet werden knnen (Only allow match if all songs in grouping match to one album) option disabled, this allows Songkong to break a logical grouping if it cannot find a match for all songs in the grouping so I wonder if this is what originally caused the issue, generally its a bad idea to disable this option if you are interested in albums.

So songs 1-5 are still in …/iTunes/Music/Miles Davis/Kind Of Blue, Im confused are these the files you cannot find, or is the the one track you cannot find ?

I assume this option is not visible to your Melco, so when you say they you cannot see them isn’t it because you haven’t copied them over to your Melco ?

I don’t this issue actually has anything to do with the IS_HD option
