naming in itunes - featuring

I was wondering, instead of having the feat. XXX as part of the artist name on itunes, is there a way it can be part of the song name? for example

God Bless the Dead (feat. Stretch) - Artist: 2pac rather than

God Bless the Dead - Artist: 2pac feat Stretch

Thanks in advance!

Sorry MusicBrainz and Jaikoz are moving away from having featuring artists in the title and putting them as additional artists instead, the opposite of what you want.

But why do you want this ?

I’d rather have it in the title because i never remember the featuring artist of a song, just the main artist. And as I usually go through my songs by artist, I have to choose the artist & featuring artist seperately sometimes taking 10 minutes to get to a basic song. There is no way I can change the settings of jaikoz to add it in the title? Maybe a good idea to include in the next software update?

So is the problem actually that the artist field sometimes contains the featuring artist not just the artist making it difficult to find all songs by one artist.

Because if so Jaikoz stores each artist of the song seperately in the artists field, within Jaikoz you could easily just replace the artist field with the first (main) artist of the artists field.

Mr. Taylor-

Jaikoz does not seem to be doing this for me. For example, when I match the track Umbrella by Rihanna feat. Jay-Z, Jaikoz only adds one artist, “Rihanna feat. Jay Z.”

Based on your last comment, I would have expected Jaikoz to add two artists to the track. Either “Rihanna feat. Jay-Z; Jay-Z” or “Rihanna; Jay-Z”. The former seems most correct to me, as it preserves the credit.

Do I have a preference setting wrong?

No, the artist fields puts the artist credit as shown on the release but the artists field should add two seperate individual artists.
