MusicIP verifry time

If you use Jaikoz to put the MusicIP tag into the song shouldn’t MusicIP verify a lot faster? Still seems to take quite some time with the latest version of MusicIP. Maybe I’m impatient…

I’ve run both the MIP service and Gui versions with similar speed results.

You would think so wouldnt you. Unfortunately Music Mixer creates a MusicIPFingerprint field to identify it, when MusicIP got together with MusicBrainz they implemented a new system that identified the track by a MusicIP Puid, which is much shorter, but they havent updated MusicIP Mixer to use this new system yet. So for now tagging with Jaikoz wont speed up the MusicIP analysis, but I expect this will change.

Is this why files processed via MusicIP get reprocessed by Jaikoz?
I would think if a file was processed with MusicIP that Jaikoz would not need to reprocess it, now I think I know why it does

Is MusicIP is not generating or storing the MusicIP Puid tag?
