Maybe I’ve missed it but what user id and password are used for the optional local database and search server for Songkong?
As you know, in Jaikoz a user can specify the user and password.

Musicbrainz server - database and search
That is only required for submitting data to Musicbrainz not reading data from Musicbrainz and SongKong does not submit any data to MusicBrainz.
Paul; can you elaborate on your plans for a “local database”?
Does this mean that I can potentially “fix” some of my 30,000 SK-unfixable tunes using the metadata from my 70,000 playable but unfixable tunes in my library?
It just means that you if you setup a local copy of the Musicbrainz server/database you can point SongKong at that and bypass the rate limiting hence getting results quicker.
But a local database should be replicated from MusicBrainz and hence have the same data so it woudn’t effect the results.
