When I was start tagging my library with SongKong for Melco and Jaikoz I saw more an more of these messages:

According to Simon Nash, the developer of Minimserver this is because the TYE frame (ID3v2.2) must contain a 4-digit year rather year-month-day.

Would it be possible to add a switch that makes both apps more compatible to Minimserver?

I will look into it, but do you really need to use ID3v2.22, this very is extremely old, not well supported by players and doesnt support metadata as well as the later versions.

Much better to use IDv24 or ID3v24. With Jaikoz yo can easily convert by setting Preferences:Save:ID3v2 Tag to V23 or V24 before loading your files, then load your files, you’ll see the version field should be coloured to indicate where it has changed and then just do Save Changes

Thanks Paul, I will give it a try as soon as both apps are showing the Preferences menu again.

I just upgraded to macOS 10.13 High Sierra and all menu items are gone.

I thought this had been fixed in the final version of High Sierra, do you have a beta version of High Sierra ?

No it is the final version of macOS High Sierra

That is confusing as others report things working okay but please try installing Java for OS X 2015-001 at https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572?locale=en_US

This installs Java 6 (that we dont need) but also the JavaVM.framework that we do.

Thanks a lot Paul, the IDE issue to me is solved and I think that we would be better off to use this link for the High Sierra issue: http://www.jthink.net/jaikozforum/posts/list/19545.page
