Minimal Remote Linux Installation

I have always used Song Kong (and Jaikoz) locally on my Windows computer. I am thinking of installing Song Kong on a Linux box running on my vmware esx server and using remote mode.

Is there a guide to do this anywhere? If not, what is the recommended distro for a minimal installation to run Song Kong?

Hi, I am not an expert on Linux but Songkong should run on any distro, there is a headless installer available form the download page.
