Metadata matched: will it write some more lyricists and composers?

Hi all,

Mine might be an edge case:

• Tags already existed and matched to musicbrainz > 99%
• I prefer custom release year/s; hence have disabled writing over them. Sometimes I haven’t, and it sometimes tags with years I don’t prefer and removes (custom) genre to boot (error report lost)
• Having disabled some of the tag editing, perhaps I’ve also nerfed lyricist and composer tagging? It exists in the musicbrainz realm, but is only sporadically writing to file tags

I’m most happy when some of the lyricists and composers are written in, and want songkong to write more and more

Composer tag in file (as read from audio player): unknown (blank)

Anyhow, as long as there wasn’t a howler in the settings that should be amended I am satisfied. I’ve enjoyed my time with songkong, though it does push my modest laptop some.

If they are not shown in your audio player then that is either an issue with your audio player, or maybe you are using a uPnP setup and need to inform the uPnP server to refresh its indexes ?

Ah yes. They are there when I use another tag reader.
