Sorry for the rash of questions but have been away for a while and trying to get caught up.

Concerning “preferences/MusicBrain/format.”

Not sure how the “Never modify these fields:” and “Only modify these fields if empty:” works. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I assume that the values that I move to the selected fields is what will be acted on.

What happens if I only move Album from available to selected for Never Modify?

What happens if I only move Album from available to selected for Only Modify?

What happens if I move Album to moth Never and Only Modify.

So, under never modify, if I move Album from available fields to selected fields then Album will not be modified even if empty?

If I only wanted to update empty fields, can I move all the fields from Available to Selected for both Never Modify and Only Modify?

If you want to only update empty fields add them all to Only modify these fields if empty (if you add them to Never modify as well then this stricter criteria will override and they will never get modified).
