I use the “Match Songs to Specified MB Release” a lot but it becomes a pain with all the clicking.
Is there a way that I can highlight the “MB Release Id” that I want to use and just hit a shortcut that would use the MBRID that is highlighted?
If not is this something that could be easily added?

Often the MB Release Id you want to use isn’t in any of your existing fields, you are grabbing it form Musicbrainz. I cant quite understand how starting dialog, entering release id and clicking ok is alot of clicking, please enlighten me.
I would also like something like this. A shortcut key and/or button that you click and it will automatically use the value in the copybuffer for the ID. (Both for MB and Discogs.)

Slight bump on this one because I use this quite a lot.
Even if you aren’t able to pull it from the clipboard buffer I would find it extremely useful if it accepted a full URL and just stripped out the junk it didn’t need.
For instance, I would like to be able to just enter this:
http://musicbrainz.org/release/66b1a283-08e3-4096-b4b6-38bb8cba30ab
Instead of having to just copy the 66b1a283-08e3-4096-b4b6-38bb8cba30ab into that field.
That would be pretty cool.

Yes I agree, well I can certainly do that and will aim to make that change for the next release.
