What is the difference between (1)“Update Metadata from existing Musicbrainz Ids” and (2)“Correct Metadata from Musicbrainz”?
By default #1 is included in the autocorrection tasks, while #2 is not. Can someone elaborate on the difference between these tasks?
It should be the other way round #2 is included but #1 is not.
‘Correct Metadata from Musicbrainz’ trys to find a match in Musicbrainz, and then correct the metadata from the matching Musicbrainz song. Whereas ‘Update Metadata from existing Musicbrainz Ids’ just updates the metadata for songs that have already been matched from Musicbrainz, this is useful when the song has had extra information added in Musicbrainz since the song was matched in Jaikoz.
