Hi All,
Every time I try to retrieve acoustic ID’s, or save files, I’m getting an error, and when I open the folder I was working with 1/2 of my mp3 files have been switched to .old files. I found a file extension converter to help we switch them back, but it’s very annoying. I’m using windows 7 home premium. Any one have idea what the problem is?

No, but please email me your support files using the Advanced/Create Support Files option.
The problem is that these songs are on your remote drive and you do not have permission to write changes to them, although there is a bug in Jaikoz in leaving .old files which I will fix.
Usually no saves are made to your files unless you select save. But because acoustid/fingerprints are always correct and do not need checking they are automatically saved to the file as they are generated. However you can disable this option in Preferences:Musicbrainz:Acoustid:Save Acoustids as Retrieved
