when I load in a bunch of files, files, that have not yet been processed by Jaikoz are being shown as ‘changed’, though I did not do any processing, yet.
Can I switch this off? This is very annoying. Because, should I save changes, these files would get modified, no? That would mean, that they’d get backed up another time by my backup software (can’t be selective, it’s Apple’s Time Machine) and maybe re-imported by iTunes (?).
This is almost alwasy because by default Jaikoz saves mp3s to use ID3v23 format because this isthe most widely compatible. So if you load mp3s that use ID3v1 only or ID3v22 or ID3v24 they will be marked as modified, if you want to preserve the existing format change the value of Preferences:Save:ID3 v2 Tag:Write v2 tag Version
The AmpliFind Id is inserted in the mp3, without showing the change status, if you have enabled the checkbox “Save Acoustic ids to file as retrieved” in Preference ->MusicBrainz - AmpliFIND.
That does n’t happen at startup, and is a bit different because what happens is AmpliFIND field only gets saved to the file as it is generated, status isnt set to changed, and so if no other changes are made you don’t actually have to save these files.
