Jaikoz will not open folders on Network Drives

Hi Guy’s

Contrary to my previous attempts and posts the following problem still stands.

I am running OpenSuse 13.2 and Jaikoz 8.0.0 (full).
openjdk version “1.8.0_40”

I can not open folders and files for example from this path;

/home/jon/smb4k/nas/share/Audio Files/A/Andrew Rayel/

or any other folder. Paul mentioned something about symbolic links
but there aren’t any. It the same with all distro’s by the looks of it.

Sometimes files don’t load up at all, or sometimes it just loads up one song when there are more.

It seems anything deeper then the first path, Jaikoz seems to have a problem.

I even changed the sub folders, instead of guess to search by number of subs but still the same.

I have even mounted drives using fstab instead of smb4k and still the same result, and this problem I have also found in Ubuntu.

I am on the point of giving up, as Jaikoz has never given this problem before.

Any help is appreciated in advance.

All the best - Steve

Ah you are using OpenJdk that could be the problem, please install the official Oracle 8 Jdk.

Also check that Preferences:Base Folder:Include subFolders when Searching For Songs is enabled

Also Ive just released Jaikoz 8.1 so try that.
