Jaikoz Toolbar Menu Issues

This usually does not change for me during upgrades, but the menu items I have been using are no longer up top. going into the preferences and adding items and saving them doe not apparently save them. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug of some sort? Thanks, Michael

Thankyou, must have introduced a bug somewhere, will look into it

Thank you. I appreciate this.

I’m struggling to replicate this issue please run Create Support Files and maybe you could post some screenshots to demonstrate the issue?

I think I have fixed it just released an amended Windows version so far. If using Windows could you test it for me please, need to

  • Uninstall existing Jaikoz 12.3
  • Download and Reinstall Jaikoz 12.3
  • Build Date will now say 26th February 2025 instead of 25th February 2025
  • Retest

So I’m not the only one!

Paul, it’s not the Available Tasks list, it’s the Toolbar itself, which you make visible with View -> Show Toolbar. After an upgrade to 12.3 all toobar icons which were there before are gone and there are now a bunch of icons from the Toolbar list (the Toolbar list is changed by the upgrade and so the Toolbar too) and it seems that the Toolbar list can’t be saved anymore.

Will upgrade later tonight. I am riunning late getting ready for work. Thank you for this.

Yes, not clear why existing icons have changed. However I have made some fixes to the Toolbar settings and it was working for me as expected so please install new version of Jaikoz 12.3 and see if you can re-create the list of toolbar icons you want added to your toolbar and see if it now works.

Just reinstalled and everything is back to normal. Thank you.

I am now having a similar issue with toolbar settings. I am unable to save my changes and random changes are being made to the toolbar after I try to save my changes to the settings. I am running 12.3 on MacOs.

Are you using Jaikoz 12.3 Build Version1194, with Build Date 28th February 2025? Because I had this behavior with the earlier Build Version and with the actual version of 28th February this issue were gone.
