I cannot install either program.
For SongKong, the download takes me to an “Optimum Installer/Express Install”
When that completes I had to do a search to find the installed product. I found a SongKong 7-Zip file with “windows64” in the filename – apparently for a 64-bit machine.
I unzip that, click on setup, and got the error message “This application was configured to use a bundled Java Runtime Environment but the runtime is missing or corrupted.” Maybe it’s because I have a 32-bit machine.
For the Jaikoz, it’s download site also takes me to a 7-zip folder with a setup file in it. I start setup, and get a “Failed to find or load ini file” error message.
I spent an hour ensuring I had the most current version of Java, and that all the old versions were deleted. Passed all the Java checks in their Java-check program, which said my computer was perfectly configured with Java.
Tried to install both SongKong and Jaikoz again and got the exact same error messages. Maybe I’m missing something; but this is the most frustrating program installation process I’ve ever experienced.
I have a 32-bit computer running Windows 7 Home Premium.
