Jaikoz not matching a song to Musicbrainz when song exits there

Creating a new thread to properly track the issue (Background can be found here: http://www.jthink.net/jaikozforum/posts/list/14304.page)

In the latest release Jaikoz is not matching one of the songs (song title: O) from the Ghost Stories album to Musicbrainz. I have sent you the support files. Not sure what is different as it was matching this song fine before this.

Found the problem:

Song 8 with title O has duration of 05:23. but album song O has duration of 07:46, if the track length differs by more than 10 seconds it is rejected.

And looking at all the release the other songs were matched to we can see the Musicbrainz is 0.746

and if we look at all other versions of this release on Musicbrainz http://musicbrainz.org/release-group/9c5aa9d2-068b-4626-b352-ae6f4f4e0b15 none of them have a 05:23 version.

Now the album was matched to this Discogs release, but interestingly this Discogs release does not have track times, so it matched because tracktimes did not have to match rather than because Discogs
had a 5:23 length version of the song.

So I know why it didnt match, but I dont know which of the following is true:

• There is a 05:23 version of the song but it just isn’t on Musicbrainz
• Your version of the file has been ripped incorrectly and is missing the last two minutes
• Your version of the file is actually 07:46 but the header is corrupted (or similar) and SongKong confused so read track length as 05:23
