Jaikoz NGS collects data I don't want in my files

I didn’t have selected these tags to save in my files:
MusicBrainz Artist Id
MusicBrainz Album Artist Id
MusicBrainz Album Type.Compilation
MusicBrainz Release Group Id
MusicBrainz Original Album Id

Why are they still saved? These fields are not selected in preference -> Table -> Columns nor in MusicBrainz -> Format 1&2

Because they are needed for Jaikoz to work properly with Musicbrainz, for example the ‘View Release Group in Muiscbrainz’ option wouldnt work without the Musicbrainz Original Group Id.

Whats the actual problem with having them ?

I don’t like things (tags) in my file I’m not knowing about. At least it should be documented that such tags are saved.

Perhaps a year ago you could decide whether or not to save them, but I found people were changing their preferences and then complaining Jaikoz wasnt working, it wasn’t really very productive.

Can’t find anything in the online help about
MusicBrainz Artist Id
MusicBrainz Album Artist Id
MusicBrainz Album Type.Compilation
MusicBrainz Release Group Id
MusicBrainz Original Album Id
that says these tags are automatically saved in the file.
I only knew this about the AmpliFIND Id.
But now let’s close this theme :slight_smile:
