Hello, I’ve been using Jaaikoz for years and it wirked well until I download the new version 12.3.
Now, when I drag and drop audio files , the program knows there are new files, but the second step : clicking on the icon lookig like a step just right of the one representing a floppy), identifying the title of the song, the author, the singer, the album and it’s cover, it doesn’t find anything.
I’m on a macBook pro (macOS 12,7,6).
Can you tell me if I’m doing something wrong, and how to solve the prolem.

there was some limited matching but only to AcoustId, if we take this log extract

It matched to Acoustid but not to the MusicBrainz release and the reason is that the release was only added to MusicBrainz recently, and Jaikoz uses a cached and optimized version of MusicBrainz that is usually a month out of date.
But you can force to match to the MusicBrainz live database using the Action:Match to Album:Match Songs to Specified MusicBrainz Album, please try that.
There is not enough information in the logs for me to work out what else is in the /Applications/Musique Appli/blues guide/1540 folder
Also, its worth noting that in general Jaikoz is not going to match everything.

I tried what you said, didn’t change annything.
Are you only trying against the one album?
I tried with 50 audio files and the files are not modified (I mea no titles, no interpret and so on…).

So I think what has happened is you had tried it against a couple of albums that it could not match, that does not mean it has stopped working. Standard match rate is about 85% of albums I think you just need to try against a greater dataset and find it is working just as well as previous version.
Ok, I’ll try. I know it doesn’t work for all the files, but it’s the third time I’ve een trying with the same result, and thats not normal.
I’ll try with songs that has been identify before, and I’ll let you know.

It works great with the Beatles. Now I’m triying with Thommas Naïm May this be love, covers of Jimi Hendrix on flat guitar.

Well, it seems to work out fine! The app recognnize the Beatles (so do I), and did the same with some jazz tracks. So, I apologize, the app is as it was. sorry to bother, and thank you for your help.
