We have now released Jaikoz 10.1.0 for Linux

This comes with new simple install that you simply unzip and then run

We also have a debian installer nearly ready but just have a few issues with it before we can release it.

Great. I have this working now. The UI/skin and integration with the native toolkit is a huge improvement over the Java 8 version.
