We are pleased to announce Jaikoz 10.1.0 Pavement is now released for Windows.

Note this now includes a new installer that will work better with Windows. Because we have not yet created a new installer for Linux you will not be automatically notified of this new release when you start previous versions of Jaikoz but it is available to download from http://www.jthink.net/jaikoz/jsp/download/start.jsp
Note when have earlier version of Jaikoz installed
The new installer imposes a different file structure from previous Jaikoz installs. So although it still installs to C:/Program Files/Jthink/Jaikoz it doesnt overwrite the existing files from previous install, and they cannot be removed by Jaikoz itself because administrator permission is required to delete them and this is only available when installing
So before installing new version it is best to simply delete C:/Program Files/Jthink/Jaikoz to remove the old installation, do this rather than trying to uninstall which does not work reliably (don’t worry this will not remove your settings or license because these are stored under C:/Users/username//Jaikoz )
If you forget to do this, as a one off when you start Jaikoz for the first time after installation you can Run as Administrator and this will allow Jaikoz to delete the files no longer required from the installation.
