iTunes library damaged

Hello,
I’ve been using Jaikoz to autocorrect my 50000 songs.
Working in batches between 1000 to 2000 songs.

Now Jaikoz and my iTunes library shows some difficulties:

  • Jaikoz is just able to save a part of the corrections properly
(and there’s no new playlist listing in iTunes, last one 29th januari 2012)
  • the Mac screensaver could’t find the artwork, today it work again
  • I received the message that the MusicBrainz library was no longer available
(normally I get the message that I exceeded my license of 5000 songs)

I’m losing confidence in my music library a bit.
Could you give me some hints on how to stablize my database?
(Maybe I should screen for duplicates with Song Sergeant and clean up iTunes a bit?)

Thanks in advance.

Your support files (Advanced/Create Support files) may be useful

This would happen if either you lost your internet connection or if Musicbrainz was down/overloaded so that 10 consecutive retries by Jaikoz failed. Restarting Jaikoz will clear the issue if Musicbrainz/Internet working again.

Why dont you load the iTunes library into Jaikoz and use the Delete Duplicates.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I found out that my harddrive was showing some problems.
After a diskrepair with Disktools Pro all seems to be working better.
Jaikoz is able to complete it’s sequence and the playlist in iTunes is updated again.
