I’ve tried 32 and 64 bit JRE 1.6 and am now trying 1.7. The result is the same, when I select either the File, Add File or File, Open Folder menu items I’m presented with an incomplete dialog as shown below.
In addition to trying different Java versions I’ve reinstalled. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
Jaikoz on OSX has not yet been updated to work with Java provided by Oracle, this will be done in the Autumn when Oracle finally release a version of Java with the OSX specific functionality currently available in Apples Java 6.
So my suspicion is that error is occurring is happening when you are running Java 7, even when you thought you were running Java 6. Please try running in Java 6 again and check the second few lines of the console tab in the detail pane, as this shows you what version of Java you are actually using.
