Is the acoustic ID stored in MP3 tags?

Hi, I’m wondering if the acoustic ID is stored in the MP3 tags because it seems I can’t find them. This is the output of “mp3info” tool.

bash-3.2$ mp3info 002\ Falling.mp3
File: 002 Falling.mp3
Title: Falling Track: 11
Artist: Jesus on Extasy
Album: Beloved Enemy Year: 2008
Comment: With their debut-album jesus Genre: Alternative [20]

And within iTunes I don’t see it too. So, how can I access the acoustic ID of my processed files?

If you used the command “Retrieve Acoustic Ids” the Acoustid is stored in the mp3-tag. You can make it visible if you click in the view or edit window the little button in the right upper edge and choose there the visible columns for the window. (In the list of the selectable colums Acoustid and Acoustid-Fingerprint are near the end of the list.)
Another possibility is, you click on Preference -> Table -> Columns and there on the colume you like to see in Jaikoz.

I want to access the information without using Jaikoz and I’m wondering how to do it. I now used THE tool (exiftool) to read the tags but don’t get the acoustic ID:

If I open the file in Jaikoz the information is there.

Hi, the problem is with exiftool, when a field can have multiple values it is only showing one of them

Note these two lines in your exiftool output:
User Defined Text : (MusicBrainz Release Track Id) a5635b86-8e39-3d02-8fc8-580fda64b082
User Defined URL : (DISCOGS_ARTIST) http://www.discogs.com/artist/135359

Now in Jaikoz do the following:

Enable View:Show View ID3 tabs
Click on the ID3 Edit tab
Note that the User Defined url and User Defined Text Info columns have multiple values as shown by the numbers to the left of the field.
Double click on the numbers to show all the values shown for the fields.
Note that the User Defined text Info field contains the Acoustid plus other name value pairs but Exiftool is only showing one of them.

Thanks for the explanation. I further digged around and now can get the information with exiftool:
