Is it possible to change a value for more than 1 song at a time?

I’m trying this app out, and it seems great, except there’s no way to change a value for all songs on an album at once.

I’m trying to tag my own music here, so I’m looking to update things like barcode, label, etc.

I’ve tried highlighting all the songs, but when I paste the barcode it only updates a single song.

I’ve read the manual and it doesn’t mention this. From scouring the web it seems the only values that can be changed for all songs at once are the ones in the edit panel, not the stuff in the lower panel where all the details are.

Can someone tell me if what I need to do is possible? I’m desperately searching for a solution to metadata editing, and I’m not about to do what should be 5 edits into 50 edits (5 fields, 10 tracks). I tried MP3tag but they don’t even support ISRC/UPC, etc.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Hi, yes are a number of ways you can do this but I would suggest this is the easiest.

  1. Load your songs into Jaikoz
  2. Select the Album you want to modify in the Tag Browser
  3. Right click on column you want to change and select the ‘Set Value’ option
  4. Enter new value, this will change the value of every field listed in the column to the new value

You can also use Set Value on any selection of fields you have selected in the edit panel.

You can also use Edit/Find and Replace

The detail panel at the bottom only ever shows the details of the last selected song, I don’t believe it is very helpful for it to merge all select songs into one display like iTunes does.
