How to remove "feat." and whatever else is after it?

Let’s say i have a song called:
Kanye West feat. blah1, blah2, blah3 - Monster

and i want it to look like

Kanye West - Monster

Is there a way to do this in jaikoz? Or at least add those artists as additional artists? I just hate going through itunes and seeing the artists tab looking like this:

kanye west (49 songs)
kanye west feat (blah) (1 song)
kanye west feat (blah2) (1 song)

I’m very new to jaikoz and am trying to re-organize a massive library folder by folder so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, I also hate that and in fact MusicBrainz have changed their style guidelines so that users should no longer put featured artists into the song title, instead they should use artist credits, but clearly it will take time for that change to filter through.

Actually I recently made a change in Jaikoz to try and strip out the featured parts of titles when matching, are you sure this is not working for you ?

all i did was run the autocorrect. It helped a bit for the library but didn’t strip out the feat artists

Can you give me a real example, showing the song that was matched to in Musicbrainz and what values are stored in artist and title field within Jaikoz

I’m confused as to how to do this. I already ran the auto correct. Is this information stored somewhere?

If you select a song in Jaikoz and select View/View this Track at Musicbrainz then send me the url I can see how the track is stored in Musicbrainz, then just send me a screenshot of Jaikoz showing the song with its title and album fields visible so I can compare.

This is one song as an example…

EDIT: This file actually shows up like i want in Itunes. It seems with itunes the important field is Album Artist. The album artist field has to just have the main artist for what i want to do.

Sorry misunderstood yourself , I was thinking you were saying the artist was in the title field. Look at the artists field I think you’ll find that the artists are separated in that field, you can copy this over to the artist field if you dont want to store the featured artists at all.
