How to remedy insufficient memory condition?

I have about 55K songs in iTunes and Jaikoz failed after scanning ~ 20K of them.

Version 3.8.0 failed with an insufficient memory msg after running for about an hour. The msg made reference to setting in a configuration file that could be increased for additional memory usage.

Where do I find information on how to change the config values?

Recommendations other than subset input to Jaikoz?

Check the help files (Ctrl-H) in the section ‘Starting Jaikoz…Memory Management’.

From what I’ve read here, it’s better to split your files into batches of around 10,000 - even if you alter the memory settings.
