How to handle 2 disc releases?

Hi yesterday I bought Jaikoz. So I’m in the testing phase. When i do a file and folder correct from meta data a two disc release will be put is a single directory (a bit of mess). What is the smartest thing to do to have nice ordered folders and files?

Personally, I handle multi-disc albums by editing the track numbering, using 3 digit numbers (where the first digit is the disc #). That way, all the album tracks can peacefully coexist in the same folder. Works out well if you decide to just play the whole album, too. Starts with 101 (disc 1, track 1) and continues to 201 after the last track on disc 1 finishes playing.

I would recommend you just add discno to the filename mask

File and Folder Correct:Rename Filename from Metadata:Rename Mask

I should actually add this as the default mask.

I have mine so it creates sub folders called disc 1, disc 2, disc 3, etc, and puts in the corresponding music only if the album has more than 1 cd in the set. You can see http://www.jaikoz.com/jaikozforum/posts/list/4418.page for an example of how I did it.

Sorry for the late response but from time to time i switch between two platforms (Windows, OS X). I want to switch to OS X so i need to find out my workflow on OS X. Meanwhile i appreciated working with Jaikoz. It’s a nice program to sort, tag my music. I thought to let you know that i appreciated the development of Jaikoz!

Thank you for answer my question. I will have a look.

Is it possible to automate this via "Rename file from metadata)? I like the idea of a 3 digit numbers. The first digit your disc and the second and third digit your track.
