Help please with Jaikoz 4.5.1

Hello Everyone

I need some help with Jaikoz 4.5.1. I am new with the program so i am a bit a newbie.
I have lots of album with comments that i would like to delete.
Is there a way to load al the albums and delete the comment in once or do i need to delete one by one or can someone please give me a way to do it?
I have around 2000 Mp3 with comments in it.

I love the program that i bought.

Thanks heaps

I use jaikoz all the time to do just this =)

Just load your 2000 files, make sure you have the comments column visible. If it is not, just go into preferences and check it. Then highlight everything in the comments column, right click on it and choose delete. This should erase all the comments.

I typically set jaikoz to show all fields, that way i can highlight all the non common ones and with one click, erase any garbage that might be hidden within them.

Afterwards just make sure to do a save.

Or just right click on the Comment column header and select Empty Column

Hello Friend

Thanks a lot for your help this is so easy now.

See ya

This is one of the things I really really like about Jaikoz, the fact that you can have it display the columns you want to work with, then cut/copy/paste, whatever you want, over a number of files. If you happen to have songs that are say from new and upcoming artists (I have thousands of these), and they don’t have an AcousticID yet, then you have to manually do the editing, and having the capability of manipulating multiple files in this manner, column by column, makes this software oh so much better than the other tagging software out there.

Add to this, I’ve downloaded the AcousticID software so that I can share the fingerprints from these new artists so that future releases will have this information available and as new users purchase these songs, their fingerprints will be there, ready and waiting. Paul’s really got some sh*t hot software here, one of the best utilities I’ve ever come across!

Thanks for your comments, but did you know you can both create Acoustid ids/fingerprints and submit them from within Jaikoz itself.

I did not know this. I’m working on releasing album information now for Boyce Avenue, all acoustic works. Want to get their info loaded and out there. Currently adding in lyrics, album covers, album info, etc. Got your email about it but not really sure I understand it. Going to have to give it a try later on this week. Going to be tied up the rest of today, but need to get at least three albums of info loaded over the next few days.

Thanks again Paul!!!

Hello There again.

Why do you say that, AcoustID works for all platforms.

 Hi Paul

Sorry i said that but really i possibly don’t know how to use all the software yet because i am new with it.
When i open a album folder i can see on the right bottom a wee text saying that no plug are install or working.
What this mean please ?
For the rest it is a great software to edit your tag like you like.

Regard

Sorry are you talking about Jaikoz, I don’t know what you are talking about.
