Great program, happy to support it.

My top nitpick at the moment is that the only way to add new artwork is from the filesystem. Most of the time I go get the artwork from {Amazon,Discogs} when Jaikoz cant find it for some reason. Its annoying and time consuming to have to save the image from the website to disk and then go into jaikoz and use a file browser, find the file and remember its name, and then delete the file from the filesystem.

There should be a way to add album art by URL. Then i find the image, rt-click copy image location, and then paste that into Jaikoz.

Yep this would really be nice.

But sometimes I wonder why Jaikoz doesn’t find Artwork. Especially if there is an Artwork on MusicBrainz.

Ive found and fixed a bug which can prevent retrieving artwork in some cases.

It would be nice if the file browser could lookup from urls but that cannot be done. I do want to add drag and drop support for images, I think this will be the best to fulfilll your request then you can drag directly from the browser when the image is found.

it doesnt have to be in the file browser… just a window where i can drop a url in, separate from the load from file function, would be perfect.

i dont expect cross-platform image drag and drop support with java… wasn’t even asking for it. ‘Load by URL’ button would be fine.
