Hello everyone
I have started to re rip my cd collection in flac and I have done about 400 for now. The issue that I have is the folder architecture between the music files that I already have on my hard drive and the new ones that Iv just rip.
I work with dbPowerAmp to rip my CD and the naming path is set to:
Album Artists\Album\TrackNUm Artist - Title
So this give me for all the cds that I have ripped:
in my Music folder, Iv got the first folder: Group or Artist Name
Muddy Waters (ex)
in that folder I have the Album name: sub folder
Hard Again
King Bee
in the album name folder I have : the music files
01 Muddy Waters - I’m A King Bee (ex)
On my Hard Drive: These are the files that I have past in SongKong
AlbumArtitsorArtist|Album|Artist - Album - Track - Title
In my music folder ( SongKong ) first folder : Group or Artist WITH Album title
Sade - Lovers Live
in that folder I have the music files:
Sade - Lovers Live - 01 - Cherish The Day.
The problem as you can see for me, is that the folder architecture are not the same. I have try to past some of the music folder that came from my ripping with dbPowerAmp in SongKOng but the folder structure stayed the same.
And the files name to: 01 Muddy Waters - I’m A King Bee…
it doesn’t go to: Muddy Waters - King Bee - 01 - I’m A King Bee
And the folder stay the same…
Other weird thing for the duplicata
Iv done some test:
Iv put in the same folder some folder with cd rip in mp3 that I put in SongKong for acusticid and in the same folder I have put the same CDS in Flac that I have past in Songkong still with Acousticid.
I have put the filter sound only
Sound and musicBrainz
MusicBrainz ect
No Duplicata as a result…I understand the file are not the same because of my situation but ??? IT should find the duplicata
Tank you in advance if you can help me
