Incomplete Song Finder: It would be nice if you could search for songs which have time durations that do not match the expected time for that song. I am not sure if musicbrain contains this data to check against, but it would be helpful in selecting a duplicate song to delete as well as searching you music collection and getting rid of partial songs.

Digital Scratch Finder: Several years ago I copied over many of my CD’s onto my computer and every so often (possibly a bug in my sound card or recording software) some of the songs would have a high pitched hiss in them. Since it took me several days to record all of my CDs one by one, it is not something I want to do over again. Is there anyway to scan each song and highlight songs that exhibit out of the ordinary abrupt hisses or unexpected music changes?

Musicbrainz does have duration stored and we do not use it for getting matches in Jaikoz but it isnt exact it can vary by a few seconds and still be the same song. I think your reuest would be better served by a different application but I’ll have a think about it.
Sorry, we are entering the realm of audio editing now, the scope of Jaikoz is already too large so I cant see me adding this.
