Filename too long for the Windows based Media Center

I have this problem for all of my files. Media Center is not happy with long file names. Is it possible to use SongKong to fix this issue i.e to shorten the filename with an useful filename?
Or what is the best way to fix this issue in the windows, if anyone with a solution for the following issue.

Yes, please look at the Enable Maximum File Path Length option (of course this will only have any effect if you have enabled Rename files based on Metadata on the Basic tab)

There is also a Limit File Path to WindowsExplorer 259 Character limit option but this is only available if running SongKong directly on Windows
