I would be handy to see what encoder was used to rip the MP3’s. Maybe adding that to the View Audio pane.
Encoder Info
The ‘Encode By’ field is available for MP3s in the ID3 Edit Tab, but not added to the multiformat tabs yet.
The Encoder field has been added to Jaikoz 2.1.0, released today. the field is added to both the Audio tab, and the View/Edit tab. For Mp4, Flac, OggVorbis this actually refers to the same field so if you chnage the value in the Edit tab and save the file, thechnages will also be reflected in the Audio Tab. For Mp3s it is two different fields, the value in the Audio Tab comes from analysing the mp34 header and canot be changed, the value displayed in the Edit tab is the ID3 ‘Encode By’ field , and can be changed - there is also another ID3 field called ‘Hardware Settings’ that might contain additional encoding information you can use.
