Hi Paul, i see you just redesign menu after right click. Maybe its well organised, but its hell when you use some item from menu very often. Its not easy to point acurrate some menus, very often disappear etc etc. Are you sure want to click and search any menu which is on third level of this hell ? Maybe should be fine to add support for cuspomization for toolbar and my past idea - switches (ctrl + shift + alt ) on the buttons to realize actions - globally / selected items.
Easy access to basic functions
So we are nested to three levels instead of two, I can see this is slightly more awkward but don’t see why your menu disappears, why its difficult to click on an item ecetera.
It does seem that a customizable toolbar would help, and your switches idea.
I have the same problem like pschonman.
The dissapearing menus were before too. But now its harder to click on a menu in the third level.
As an example for a dissapearing menu: right click on a song and click on “View Online”, then go staight (diagonal) to “View this Track on Music Brainz” the second level menu dissapears. Have to go rectangle. That means staying in the line of “View Online” to move the mouse cursor to the second level menu.
So I agree with pschonmann’s suggestion :!:
I only get this happening if I after getting the the first menu up I move diagonally towards the second menu and in doing so the mouse catches a different selection on the first menu which does not have a secondary menu causing the second menu level to disappear.
If you navigate horizontally away from the first menu, once off the first menu you can move your mouse anywhere on the screen and the 2nd level mouse menu does not disappear.
I work a lot with loads of files instead of one album at a time and as such also don’t like the deep menu’s. Instead I try to use the shortcuts as much as possible.
But I would really like for example an checkmark/radiobutton on the toolbar that determines if the buttons work global or on the selection.
