i have a problem and i dont get the answer on the web.

I use picard musicbrainz on my songs and i set to clear the existing tags. And i don know for sure if the amplifind id can get the real tags of my musics. Have a way to jaikoz remember the right tags?

Other question. In jaikoz update (3.8.1) i dont have acess to preferences, like in the previous version. Have a way to i set my preferences again? or i dont need to do this in this version?

thanks a lot

Sorry I don’t understand the question ?

You mean there is no Preferences menu item ?
The only time I have seen this issue was with the last Apple Java preview release, but with the final Java release it was fixed, are you still using the preview release ?

in my first question i try to explain what happened to my songs. I download a lot of songs and use musicbrainz picard to fix the tags, but i think that picard messed up my music information. I was wondering if with amplifind id, my songs information will appear corretly.

My computer is up to date. The preference panel disappear when i installed the updated version.

With Jaikoz a combination of AmplifIND and Musicbrainz Id should fix your songs, but its not going to give 100% results, have you tried out the Autocorrect.

You are using the cross-platform appearance rather than the Mac look, this seems to be the problem, when using this the preferences menu should be under the File menu, but it isnt Ive logged as a bug.

Unfortunately if you cannot change the preferences you cannot change the appearance back to Mac OSX. Instead you’ll need to go to

Home/Library/Preferences/Jaikoz

and delete settings.jai

Then Jaikoz will default back to default settings, and you’ll have access to the Preferences menu again.

Thanks!

I never had tried out of autocorrect. i have 30000 songs.

another question is why jaikoz dont recognize some music (that plays normal in itunes) like songs? said that this songs were corrupted but plays in itunes and i already have imported in jaikoz once.

very very thanks

Try Advanced/Empty Cache.
If that doesnt work please send email me your support files and the offending mp3 for testing.
