Deleting SongKong DB

I was able to fix various issues in the past by using the build in ?Empty Database? of SongKong. Most recently today on my unRAID Docker installation by using it 2 times. That is clearly a problem on the Melco platform because there is no way to restart SongKong except restarting the whole system.

Is is good practice or at least acceptable to manual delete the database file on the Melco instead?

But you don’t neccessarily need to restart SongKong after running Empty Database. You can manually delete the database outside SongKong but then you would have to restart the Melco.

Well, SongKong is usually crashing after empty db. So I have to restart the Melco anyhow. Might be easyier to manually delete the db. Thanks Paul.
