Many Russian composers (prokofiev, tchaikovsky, etc.) appear in Cyrillic, or Russian – both composers and compositions. I know there are plug-ins in Picard to take care of this. Could this also be available as an option on Songkong and Jaikoz?
Decode Russian cyrillic to English
MusicBrainz usually contains any artist (artist/performer/composer/conductor) in their native language, and a Latin script (usually English) version. You can use the Romanize non-Latin script artist names where-ever possible to convert from cyrilic/chinese ectera when updating/matching from MusicBrainz
