Is it generally safe to copy my songkong settings folder from the Docker install to my local install?
Docker:
/mnt/user/appdata/songkong:/songkong
Local:
~/.songkong
The contents are similar, and the diff doesn’t show much difference. I’d like to share settings between the two, and this seems like the only way.
I threw caution to the wind and tried it, and… It worked! All of my settings seem to be there.
Can you think of any reason that this will break things in the future?
You mean a linux install ?
The key risk areas would be references to paths such as Moved Folder and Move Unmatched Folder in Rename Files task, but if paths are the same and all settings are copied I cannot think of any another issues.
