Is there a way to set my preferences to completely ignore compilation albums? I’m a dj and having the original release date is instrumental to having a accurate library.
Compilations
Even if songs are matched to a compilation the Original release year field is used to store the earliest version we can of the release.
And if you enable Preferences:MusicBrainz:Format:Put original Year into Year it will use this earlier date for the Year field rather than the date of the compilation.
